So I’m running this website on a Raspberry Pi 0 – not the Pi 0 2 – the original one. The pain is because this pi is a single core, 512MB of RAM tiny single board computer about the third the size of a credit card. Although the speed leaves some to be desired, I have to say this is a capable little device for running single tasks.
People who get frustrated with the speed of some of these little machines fail to remember what it was like 15 to 20 years ago when you had to wait for everything to load. It was literally a fact of life.
Well the experience isn’t perfect, but I’m not dissatisfied with the performance. I am glad to find a use for the $15 device.
