Poincaré recurrence theorem

So the other day I had a rather clumsy conversation with a friend where I tried to explain the Poincaré recurrence theorem. I attempted to explain the concept based on a video I saw recently where the example was presented of a completely sealed box. Inside the box is an apple. Mind you – nothing can get in, and nothing can get out. Presumably it the box is left alone, the contents while changed will remain somewhat there. The Poincare recurrence postulates that ——will finish later
